Skate Boys of Summer
Those are the rebellious, skateboarding-obsessed boys. They practice tirelessly different tricks. And then again. Street skaters are often portrayed or refer to themselves as being 'self‐made'. The sun made them. The shade made them. The street made them. And the board, that great skate board.
It is interesting how once a in a gritty, shady culture that evolved in backside streets, now skateboarding is part of a broader fascination by the fashion/creative world. The skateboard style was and is still endlessly copied and woven into the mainstream.
