About

““Photography is not about the thing photographed. It is about how that thing looks photographed.”

— Garry Winogrand

Bio

Born in Sofia 42 years ago, I have covered some ground in both radio and print journalism. I've started my own radio show at the age of 15. As a teenager I wrote music reviews and articles for several Bulgarian newspapers/magazines. I've made some reportages for the BBC Bulgarian Section, then Monocle and TOL. Numerous other projects followed.

As of November 2006 I am Program Director of the biggest Bulgarian private radio station, Darik Radio.

Expertise

I am interested in telling stories, to capture a moment in time, whether it's an interesting street scene, a conversation between people, a great city to explore or just the perfect light.

I am trying to  experiment while shooting with film on my bathered Leica M6, Mamiya RB67 and Leica M Typ 240.
